Camille stands on her own! September 9, 2010

Camille is into her tenth month of life. She's such a big girl! So I tricked her without realizing it at the time. She was in her high chair and reached for the container of puffs (nicknames: puffies, puffy-poodles, or zoomies), so I gave them to her and she held on with both hands. She continued to hold on as I picked her up and stood her in front of her table/entertainment center. She had no interest in her table whatsoever. I let go of her and expected her to lean into her table but she just stood there with the puffs in her hands for awhile with nothing to hold her up but herself. That was the trick - she was so interested in the container of puffs that she didn't even realize she was standing on her own! I knew she was capable of this. She's monkey-walking all over the place with both arms but just one leg. She will be walking any day now. Stay tuned!
